I spent waaayyyy too long on this! I'm such a perfectionist I changed the boxes around so much, it was unholy.
AND Photoshop had to up and close on me.
And no, I hadn't saved. -_____-
BUT IT WAS PERSEVERANCE THAT BROUGHT THIS THROUGH. (And I a lot of butt-kicking from myself. God Karen, you're so stupid. Mean Girls ref!! xD)

Anyhoo, that isSheila/ Salem, a SGPA heroine, and her gender-bent version is Shay, he is Salem too~ The name's unisex~

Similarities:
-They both have the same overly flirtatious personality. Basic personality is much the same.
-Same staff, tattoo designs, same powers and limitations.

Differences:
-Tattoos are reversed- that, and you can't see Shay's thigh tattoo.
-Shay's a little more relaxed about the whole 'Devil's Reincarnation' thing- whereas Sheila is a little scared by it.
-He is also more touchy-feely with his flirtations.
-Whilst Sheila can be quite aggressive in battle at times, Shay is more restrained in blowing peoples' heads off.
-Ability wise is much the same, except Shay's affinity for shape-shifting is more potent than Sheila, as he can change completely with no flaws. Whereas Sheila has a stronger affinity to the spiritual side of the Devil, and can perform minor incantations and charms with the spellbook she stole (these are not used for fighting).

Design Process:
Hmmm... Well I have a sheet of unfinished quick sketches of Shay, brainstorming ideas and designs and things. Originally I had settled for long hair, but then I couldn't make it seem MASCULINE enough as Sheila's hair is all shaggy and wild. It looked slightly too camp on a guy. *sighs*
So Shay ended up with the sort of mid-length style. I always have trouble with hair, don't I?? Urgh.
Outfit design was super fun!! I tried mimicking Sheila's style, but obviously without the corset. AHAHA.
When drawing I wanted to give off a cocky appeal, and I was reading The Hunger Games- so TADA---- Finnick reference!!
I actually really, really like Shay. Possibly because I find him a little attractive (AHEM.), but I might go on and draw him more later... Ehehhe...

How did Sheila end up finding Shay??
'I should've left him in that stupid spellbook' sort of gives you an idea doesn't it.
Sheila likes raiding Satan's temples where all his Satanic worshippers go to well, worship. Creepy, dark, scary places.
Well they carry loads of nice artefacts- some of them real. She has a knack for choosing the useful ones, and stole a large spellbook from a library archive quite recently.

After poring through the pages for a while (needs to translate runes), she transliterated out a passage talking about a 'Mirror Clone'. Thinking it'd be sort of fun to have a second her, she tried it out. Although she's competent at translating- she completely omitted the part which explained that you aren't 'cloning yourself', but instead dragging a parallel of yourself out from another dimension.

The parallel she managed to locate happened to be Shay~
And there you have it.

In the future, Sheila will probably plan to try and send him back. And Shay can come back for visits!! Yeah for play dates with yourself!!
